I met Amy & Alex at their chosen wedding venue, the gorgeous
Ettington Park Hotel which is just outside Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire.

Unfortunately it was raining so much we decided to abandon the shoot and grab a coffee at my house. This actually worked out quite well as we used the time to view some wedding albums and go over their wedding plans. Luckily the rain began to stop and we headed back to the hotel to grab a few shots in between showers.

I decided to do something a little different with Andy & Sarah’s pre wedding shoot. We went out into the countryside surrounding Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire and came across this corn field. It was too good an opportunity to miss and I managed to grab this shot.

Sarah & Andy are due to be married in the Stratford Hotel, Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire in September.

The ceremony took place at St Andrews Church, Wilmote, Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire. Followed by the reception at Henley Golf Club in Henley in Arden, Warwickshire.

The day began with rain & it looked we were in for a wash out. However come 11 am the sun came out just for Claire & James on their wedding day.

I would also like to say a special thank you to Louise Holgate for second shooting for me.

Snowshill Lavender Farm Portfolio Shoot July 2011

This July a small group of 9 local wedding photographers along with 4 models got together for a bridal portfolio shoot. The main event took place at Snowshill Lavender Farm nr Broadway, Worcestershire. However many of the images were taken in a field courtesy of the farmer at Childswickham nr Evesham.

I would like to thank Rachel Wilks and Samantha Pommells from the Flickr group UKWP for all there hard work in making this happen.

Can I also take this opportunity to say a special thank you to Jodie, Clare, Danielle & Greg for being the perfect models. Luckily the rain held off and we managed to get some great images for our portfolios.
