Many congratulations to Laura and Phil who were married in Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire. Celebrating a good old-fashioned traditional wedding with all the bells and whistles.

My day began at Laura’s parent’s house to take some photos of the beautiful bride-to-be. As it was a fine summer’s day we decided to take the formal photos with mum, dad, and bridesmaids in the rear garden.

Then it was time to head off to meet Phil “the groom” at St Gregory’s Church. Guests were already arriving so I took the opportunity to introduce myself and grab a few candid photos.

Laura looked fantastic walking down the aisle arm in arm with her proud father.

Luckily I was given the run of the church and managed to get some fantastic photos of the wedding ceremony.

After the formal family group photos and confetti, we all headed over to the Town Hall for the wedding reception.

It was a hot summer’s day so we decided to take a break during the wedding breakfast. Formal bridal photos were taken around Old Town Stratford upon Avon in the evening when it had cooled off a bit.

This was all topped off with some frantic Ceilidh Dancing which was very much enjoyed by all.

St Gregory the Great – Catholic Church

A lovely Roman Catholic Wedding Ceremony was conducted by Fr Alex Austin OSB. It was great to see you again and many thanks for letting me have the run of the church to take photos.

St Gregory’s Church is located on Warwick Road, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6UJ. The site for the church was bought on 5th April 1850 and the building was completed on 30th July 1866.

Stratford upon Avon Town Hall Wedding

Stratford-upon-Avon Town Hall is a prestigious building right in the heart of this historic market town.

The Hall was built during the reign of Charles I and throughout its chequered history has seen calamitous events including being extensively damaged from a gunpowder explosion in 1643. Major alterations were carried out in 1863 giving the building its current look.

Laura and Phil, this was probably one of my favorite weddings of 2022. Thank you for choosing me to be your wedding photographer.
