Nuthurst Grange Wedding Photographer
Back in November, I had the pleasure of photographing Helen and Simon’s wedding at Knowle Parish Church, followed by their reception at Nuthurst Grange in Solihull.
Honestly, the weather forecast didn’t seem promising, and I knew that the day ahead could be challenging.
I started my day at Helen’s parents’ house, where I captured everyone preparing for the big day. After that, we took some formal family photos in the garden with Helen’s mum and dad, sisters, and their partners. As I had already photographed both of Helen’s sisters, Joanne and Victoria, it was great to catch up with everyone again.
Once everyone was ready, it was time to head off to Knowle Parish Church for the wedding ceremony.
Helen and Simon wanted to ensure that both sides of their wedding story were covered. However, since I couldn’t be in two places at once, I enlisted the help of Tristan as my second shooter. His task was to capture Simon and the boys at Nuthurst Grange as they got ready for the wedding. Once they were dressed in their wedding attire, they all proceeded to Knowle Parish Church and waited for Helen’s arrival.
It was wonderful to witness a large group of family and friends gathered in a beautiful church for Helen and Simon’s traditional wedding ceremony. Everything went smoothly without any glitches, and soon the couple was pronounced married. However, as we stepped outside the church after the ceremony, it looked quite gloomy, so we decided to quickly snap a family photo in the church grounds. But just as I managed to line everyone up, the sky opened up and we had to rush back into the church to avoid getting drenched. Ironically, the rain stopped once we finished taking formal family photos inside. The Family guests were keen to leave, so I took advantage of the opportunity to take some formal bridal photos at the church. Fortunately, the sun briefly shone through the clouds, and I was able to capture some stunning photos.
