Alveston Manor Wedding Photography
Many congratulations to Dom & Alex who were married at the Macdonald Alveston Manor Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire.
As always I arrived early to go over my notes and timings then scout out the grounds looking for possible photo opportunities. Alex stayed in the bridal suite located in the Coach House building. I was greeted by excited bridesmaids all in the throws of having their hair and makeup done. So not wishing to get in the way I grabbed a few shots and then headed off to find the Groom. Dom was not far from the Bar enjoying some fun with his Dad and groomsmen. I took a few shots then headed back to take some formal bridal shots of Alex.
Although Alveston Manor now offers outdoor wedding ceremonies it was one of those hot summer days. So I was pleased when they decided to have the wedding ceremony inside the Cedar Room enjoying the benefit of air conditioning.
Well, what a belter of a wedding this turned out to be with lots of fun and laughter. The rest of the day went off without a hitch and a great time was had by all.
I honestly had a great time & would like to say a big thank you to Dom & Alex for being so much fun to work with.
Well done to Jen, Matt, Alina, and all the staff for working hard behind the scenes to make this a wonderful event for everyone.

Macdonald Alveston Manor, Stratford-upon-Avon
The Macdonald Alveston Manor is a stunning Tudor mansion set in amongst gorgeous landscaped grounds.
Situated not far from William Shakespeare’s hometown Stratford upon Avon just over the River Avon. One of the hotel’s best features is the magnificent Cedar Tree, where apparently the first-ever performance of a Midsummer’s Night Dream happened.
The hotel has many original period features like the leaded windows, Elizabethan staircase, and the wood-paneled lounge bar.
The Cedar room can comfortably seat up to 120 wedding guests and features stunning garden views.
Macdonald Alveston Manor can accommodate up to 150 guests and has three bridal suits available to choose from.
Being a bit of a Petrol Head myself I was pleased to see Dom’s Dad John had brought along his cherished Black MGB Roadster.
I just love classic sports cars and had to take some photos.
After the first dance, the evening was topped off with an outstanding live band called the TEXAN PEACOCKS
Dom is also the approved DJ SUBSONIC DISCO for Alveston Manor. He is also an accomplished musician along with his sister Tasha and Dad John.
Dom and Alex also booked our unique PHOTO BOOTH which is manned during the event to help add a bit of humor to your photos.
We also print on the night so everyone also gets to take home a souvenir.
