So, my final wedding of 2020 turned out to be a belter. It was a job well done considering we only had 2 hours from start to finish.
Mike & Shell were to be married at Deer Park Hotel in Worcester earlier this year. Their plans as many unfortunate couples were scuffed due to the COVID-19 restrictions. However not to be beaten they bravely scaled the wedding down & got married in December.
Having to comply with social distancing rules we were not allowed in the Henley Room during the ceremony. Images were taken through the stained glass windows – so just had to do the best job I could under the circumstances.
After the wedding ceremony, we headed off to take some photos in Old Town, Stratford upon Avon. Then carried onto Holy Trinity Church ending at the Royal Shakespeare Company on the River Avon.
We decided to meet up later once the sun had set to take some blue hour photos by the river.
Many thanks to Mike & Shell for trusting me in these difficult times. You are a great couple & I look forward to shooting your wedding reception in 2022.

Mike and Shell’s quest for a unique wedding photo led us to meet up later that day to create some breathtaking wedding portraits by the river.
Despite the bitter cold, I pushed myself to capture the perfect shots. In the end, the stunning result was worth all the effort.
