Romantic Weekend, Stratford-upon-Avon

Yara & Adam were married back in February 2011 and are obviously still very much in love. They traveled up from Greenwich London for a romantic weekend away and asked me to grab some shots as a memento.

I met the happy couple in the pretty Village of Wilmcote just outside Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. The village has some fantastic photographic locations including Mary Arden’s House and lots of black & white beamed cottages.

After half an hour or so we decided to head on into town. I must say it was freezing but we had a great time visiting Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Nashes Gardens etc. Later we took a walk down to the Bancroft by the River Avon where they fed some Swans Yara’s secret stash of chocolate digestives.

We finished off the day by grabbing some festive Christmas light shots.

The image of Yara and Adam at night was a bit of a challenge to get right.
