Having worked at numerous wedding venues throughout the UK, I find Mickleton Hills Farm to be one of the most impressive. It offers a beautiful setting for couples, along with attentive and professional staff who contribute to a well-organized wedding day. This venue truly excels in creating a memorable experience for both the couple and their guests.
It was wonderful to see David, the owner, actively engaged and efficiently managing everything. His dedication to maintaining an exact schedule really contributed to the event running smoothly and without a hitch.

A few years ago, Dave was my second shooter, and we had many adventures together. I was truly honored when Dave and Hayley asked me to be their wedding photographer.
This was my first wedding photography assignment at Mickleton Hills Farm, and it turned out to be a fantastic day.

Ideal For Natural Light Wedding Photographers
I hope this doesn’t come across as overly focused on photography, but I truly love barn wedding ceremonies for several reasons. One standout feature of barn wedding venues is often their large windows, which provide ample natural light—an essential element for great photography.
What sets Mickleton Hills Farm apart is that it has not one, but two enormous windows on either side of the bride and groom as they exchange their vows. For wedding photography, you couldn’t ask for a better setup. The abundant, dramatic, and soft directional light coming in from both sides creates an ideal environment.
As a wedding photographer, it’s hard not to appreciate that!

The Party
Dave and Hayley hosted a spectacular evening party that was filled with excitement and fun. The highlight of the night was a talented live band that played a lively mix of music, keeping everyone on the dance floor throughout the evening. Guests of all ages joined in, dancing and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. It was truly a memorable celebration, leaving everyone buzzing with joy long after the party ended!
