Cotswold Lavender Farm Portfolio Day Snowshill Broadway

Back in 2011, I organized a portfolio-building training day for a small group of local creatives. This comprised of 9 up-and-coming wedding photographers, 4 models a hairstylist and makeup artists. The idea behind this shoot was to learn some new portrait photography skills.

Although this was a collaboration of like-minded individuals I was always on hand to give some direction as required.

The main event took place at Cotswold Lavender Farm nr Broadway, Worcestershire. However many of the images were taken in a field courtesy of the farmer at Childswickham nr Evesham.

I would like to thank Rachel Wilks and Samantha Pommells from the Flickr group UKWP for all their hard work in making this happen.

Can I also take this opportunity to say a special thank you to Jodie, Clare, Danielle & Greg for being great models.

Luckily the rain held off and we all managed to get some fantastic images for our portfolios.
