Alveston Manor Wedding

Beth & Adam are a great couple and I wish them a long and happy marriage. Thank you for your kind hospitality and for choosing me to capture your big day. 

As always, I made it a point to arrive an hour early to the wedding venue. This gave me ample time to explore the space and identify the best locations for photo opportunities. I walked through the gardens, taking note of the natural lighting and any unique backdrops, while also reviewing my notes and the day’s schedule to ensure I was fully prepared. Once I felt confident about the setting, I treated myself to a quick cup of coffee. With a sense of anticipation, I set off to meet the bride-to-be, eager to document her preparations and the excitement leading up to the ceremony. 

Beth and Adam chose to have a civil wedding, which took place in the Cedar Room. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks and canapés on the rear terrace. It was a typical autumn day, which allowed me to capture some beautiful outdoor wedding photos. The rest of the day went smoothly, and everyone had a wonderful time.

The Macdonald Alveston Manor Hotel  

This a Tudor-style manor house built in the 1500s. It is located in Stratford-upon-Avon, just a short walk from the town center and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.  

The hotel features a fine dining restaurant, an oak-paneled lounge, and a multi-level bar. Amenities include a top-notch gym with an indoor pool, as well as a luxury spa with six treatment rooms.  

Additionally, the beautifully maintained gardens and the River Avon create a picturesque setting, making it an ideal venue for weddings.
