I arrived at the venue 1 hour early “as always” which gives me plenty of time to go over my notes and prepare myself for the long day ahead. Once ready I set about taking a few shots of the building and grounds before finding Rebecca & Joe for the bridal prep photos.
Before long the outdoor ceremony took place outside in the unique wooden Orchard Bothy Structure. All went off without a hitch and Rebecca and Joe were married.
However, the weather was starting looking a bit dodgy so I decided to rattle off the confetti shots and all-important family photos ASAP. Luckily the rain held off and we managed to get all the photos as planned.
Now it was time for the wedding breakfast so everyone was invited into the marque for a lavish meal and speeches.
The heavens finally opened up during the main course and fizzled out pretty quickly. Thankfully this offered a bit of relief on such a warm day.
Now that it had cooled of a little we headed off to take some formal bridal photos around the grounds. Then back to cut the cake and have the first dance.
As planned I stayed on into the evening, finishing with some fantastic twilight shots before leaving the party.
Many congratulations Rebecca and Joe. Thank you for hospitality and being a great couple to work for!
