It had been raining all morning so we abandoned our original idea of a sunset shoot at Chesterton Windmill.
I thought it best to stay close to home so we decided to head down to Shottey in Stratford upon Avon. It turned out to be a good choice as the trees were covered in blossom and we managed to grab some great shots.
We had a lot of fun & I can’t wait to shoot their wedding later on this year in Sudbury.
Following the success of my previous portfolio shoots at Brownsover Hotel in Rugby & the Custard Factory in Birmingham I decided to organise another one. After a lot of searching for suitable locations I chose Guy’s Cliffe House in Warwick.
The shoot was loosely based around a Bridal / fashion theme.
I would like to thank Simon from Hedrock Hair for doing an excellent job on the models hair & Satti B for the fantastic makeup. Also many thanks to our models Karoline Jasek, Esme Howells, Meli Jackson Bellamy, Katie Trotman & the one and only Rakibuk Chowdhury. You all looked fantastic and we managed to get some great shots for our portfolios.

I must say this was my favourite portfolio shoot to date, we had great fun and I just can’t wait to go back at the end of May.

We returned one of my favorite wedding venues the gorgeous Ettington Park Hotel which is just outside Stratford upon Avon in rural Warwickshire.
Jayne and Jonathan opted for a civil ceremony and were married in the hotels beautiful wood paneled library. This was a small family wedding with just 14 guests which made it easy to remember everyone’s names for once.
Luckily the weather man got it wrong and we enjoyed a perfect warm sunny spring day.

Before the wedding season gets into full swing I thought it a good idea to blow off the winter cobwebs & organise another portfolio shoot. The theme for the day was loosely based around a vintage bridal look.
As always we had great fun and a good time was had by all. It was great to see so much talent at work & I can’t wait to see some of the images from the other photographers.
It was far too nice to be stuck inside so we grabbed the opportunity & made full use of the fantastic grounds surrounding the hotel. It’s a shame we couldn’t stay all day as the afternoon shoot went so quickly. Hopefully I will return one day and make better use of the beautiful rooms & fantastic red walled staircase.
A special thanks to the General Manager Alan Moxon & staff at Brownsover Hall Hotel for there hospitality and letting us have a free run of the place. BTW the three course meal was top notch.
I would also like to say a big thank you to Vicki Steel, Satti B & Jess Carter who worked very hard to get the models ready in good time.

Ettington Park Hotel, Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire was the ideal location for Jayne & Jonathan to have their wedding in April.
After several phone calls we decided to meet at the hotel and discuss wedding plans on site. It had been snowing the day before so I couldn’t resist grabbing a few shots.
